Chapter 623: Welcome Back To Death Planet
Chapter 623: Welcome Back To Death Planet
Alira’s silver ship finally arrived and descended through the violent clouds of Garion’s planet.
Outside the window, as usual, various kinds of extreme weather were raging across the planet.
Dahlia stood near the window with both hands on her hips, grinning proudly. "Home sweet death trap."
Alira glanced at her. "That is not a comforting description."
Garion stood behind them with his arms crossed, looking very satisfied. "But it’s accurate."
Alira sighed.
The ship slowly passed through the storm layer and landed near the temporary God Gym base.
The ground shook slightly as the ship touched down, while nearby beasts immediately fled from the pressure of the vessel.
The hatch opened.
Garion stepped down first, stretching both arms as if he had returned from a relaxing vacation instead of a tournament that had shaken multiple factions. "Ahh. Fresh air."
Alira followed behind him and looked at the poisonous storm clouds in the distance. "Fresh?"
Garion nodded. "Fresh enough."
Dahlia jumped down after him and laughed. "Master, when do we train?"
Garion grinned. "Soon. You just won the tournament, so now we need to make you even stronger."
Dahlia’s eyes brightened. "Good!"
Alira looked at the two of them and felt like she was watching two lunatics discuss weather.
After a moment, she turned toward Garion. "I’ll return to Astral Cosmic Terminal One and report to Manager Paren."
Garion nodded. "Sure."
"But before I leave," Alira continued, "there is one more thing."
Garion looked at her. "What?"
Alira took out a small communication device. "After Dahlia’s announcement, many people will ask about God Gym. Some factions will send formal requests. Some individuals may want training. Some may only want information."
She looked directly at him. "What should I tell them? Do they need to apply through the terminal first? Should they contact Manager Paren? Should they wait for approval?"
Garion thought for one second.
Then he grinned. "Just tell them to come directly here."
Alira froze.
Dahlia laughed immediately.
Alira slowly narrowed her eyes. "Directly... here?"
Garion nodded. "Yeah."
He pointed at the brutal planet around them. "If they want training, they can come to my planet."
Alira’s mouth twitched. "Garion, this planet is not exactly visitor-friendly."
Garion looked around at the storms, mountains, frozen ground, violent wind, and distant beast roars.
Then he nodded seriously. "Perfect."
Alira stared at him.
Garion continued, "Anyone who gives up just because the planet looks dangerous probably won’t survive God Gym training anyway."
Dahlia nodded proudly. "True."
Alira rubbed her forehead. "Fine. Then should I at least give them your contact?"
Garion smiled. "Yeah. Give them my contact too. Direct visit or contact first, either way works."
"Are you sure?"
Garion nodded without hesitation. "Yeah."
Alira studied his face for a moment.
He was grinning like usual, but his eyes were calm.
This was not a random joke.
He really meant it.
After a long silence, Alira finally nodded. "Understood. I’ll inform Manager Paren."
Garion raised one hand casually. "Thanks."
Alira turned around and walked back toward the ship, but before entering, she stopped and looked over her shoulder. "Garion."
"Hm?"
"Try not to turn every visitor into a half-dead monster."
Garion smiled brightly. "No promises."
Alira sighed one last time.
Then the ship hatch closed.
A moment later, the silver vessel rose into the stormy sky and disappeared beyond the clouds.
Garion watched it leave, still grinning.
Dahlia stood beside him, eyes shining with excitement. "So, Master..."
Garion looked at her.
Dahlia cracked her knuckles. "What now?"
Garion turned toward the wild planet stretching endlessly before them.
His grin widened. "Now?"
He rolled his shoulders. "We prepare God Gym for customers."
Dahlia’s eyes immediately brightened. "Food court?"
Garion grinned. "Training ground, resting area, food area, reception area, and most importantly..."
He looked toward the wild mountains in the distance, where storms, beasts, and poisonous clouds were all fighting for dominance like the whole planet had anger issues. "...we need more trainers."
Dahlia blinked. "More trainers?"
Garion nodded seriously. "Of course. I can’t train everyone alone, and you’re still a participant-level monster. You’re good for beating people up, but not for managing customers."
Dahlia frowned. "Master, are you saying I’m not suitable to teach?"
Garion looked at her silently for a moment.
Dahlia crossed her arms.
Garion smiled. "I’m saying if I let you teach beginners, half of them will cry, and the other half will run away."
Dahlia thought about it.
Then she nodded. "Fair."
At that moment, a tiny silver-haired figure suddenly appeared beside Garion’s shoulder, floating lazily with his glowing wings.
[So, you finally remembered you need staff.]
Garion glanced at Atlas. "Of course I remembered."
Atlas crossed his small arms.
[Sure. After advertising to half the Cosmic Terminal and telling everyone to come directly to a death planet.]
Dahlia laughed. "He has a point, Master."
Garion ignored both of them and pointed at Atlas. "Can we awaken another trainer now?"
Atlas tilted his head.
[With the energy recovered from your recent activity, Dahlia’s tournament exposure, and the planet’s natural cosmic flow... yes.]
Garion’s eyes lit up. "Good."
Atlas raised one finger.
[But only one person for now.]
Garion nodded without hesitation. "Then awaken Rachel."
Dahlia immediately frowned a little. "Rachel?"
Garion looked at her. "What?"
Dahlia scratched her cheek and looked away. "Nothing. I just thought you’d pick someone more... trainer-like."
Garion stared at her.
Then he smiled. "Oh, come on. Don’t be like that. She’s my wife."
Dahlia coughed lightly. "I know."
Garion grinned. "And Rachel is perfect for this. She can heal, support, calm people down, and stop customers from dying when my training gets too effective."
Atlas nodded.
[That is unfortunately a valid point.]
Dahlia crossed her arms. "Fine. Yeah, I guess she is useful."
Garion’s eyes narrowed. "Useful?"
Dahlia immediately looked away. "Very useful."
Garion snorted, then suddenly raised another finger. "Also, my daughter Giselle."
Atlas froze.
Dahlia also blinked.
Garion looked between them. "What?"
Atlas stared at him silently for a moment.
Garion frowned. "What? She’s still a baby, so basically 0.5, right? That’s why it’s okay, isn’t it?"
Dahlia’s mouth twitched. "Master..."
Garion spread his hands. "What? I’m not making her a trainer. I just want my daughter awake too."
But suddenly, Atlas remained silent.
That silence made Garion frown harder. "Hey. Why are you quiet?"
