Chapter 18 Five Years Later, the Owl's Letter
Chapter 18 Five Years Later, the Owl's Letter
The sun is shining brightly, the scenery is beautiful, and an owl is flying swiftly in the blue sky, searching for its target.
Suddenly the owl slowed down, as if it had found the place it was looking for, and then began to swoop down, landing steadily by Landric's window.
Inside the room, Landric rested his head on one hand, presenting a picture of a beautiful woman slightly tipsy.
Unfortunately, owls are not human and cannot appreciate such a beautiful sight. After hooting a few times, they successfully woke Landric, dropped a letter, and flew away.
Landric was a little annoyed after being woken up, but he still went to the window, picked up the letter left by the owl and looked at it. When he saw the words "Hogwarts", he still felt a little dazed.
Eleven years have passed since I first came into this world.
Landric's thoughts drifted away, seemingly returning to the day he died in his previous life, a feeling of helplessness and despair that he could never forget.
He has received love from many people in his life. Perhaps because he doesn't go out much, he rarely feels the same way about being coveted as before, which makes him feel very comfortable.
Landric looked out the window when suddenly a very flamboyant golden eagle flew over.
Upon seeing the golden eagle, Landric didn't have time to reminisce about his past life.
"What is Draco up to now?" Landric sighed, rubbing his forehead.
Then he gently removed the letter from the golden eagle's body.
It was Draco's usual style, even the envelope was embossed with gold—well, I should say Malfoy's style.
Landric opened the envelope, his slender, long fingers slowly unfolding it, and after a moment he let out a soft chuckle.
Draco, after all these years, you're still just as childish as you were back then.
Ultimately, Landric indulged Draco, quickly replying to his letter and agreeing to Draco's wish to go shopping for school supplies with him.
After replying to the letter, Landric sat back in his armchair, and couldn't help but think about the plot.
After so much time, he had forgotten most of the plot, only remembering a few key details.
The journey to Hogwarts was the beginning of the story, Landric thought.
Draco's final fate was forgotten, but he knew that Dumbledore's side would ultimately prevail. Since Dumbledore would win, Draco's ending wouldn't be good either.
Landric's eyes darkened. In his past life, he couldn't protect himself, but this life was different.
Although Landric appears to be only 11 years old, his soul is mature. Moreover, he has been educated by the shrewd and cunning heads of the Rozier and Malfoy families, making his intellect and methods second to none.
Landric may not understand love, but he desires someone who loves him; this is an obsession carried over from his past life. Therefore, nothing can happen between Tana Rozier and the Malfoy family.
Dumbledore's final victory should prompt him to carefully plan how to protect himself and those he cares about, and how to maximize his own gains—these are all things he should seriously consider…
However, what's important for Landric right now is to stay with Draco; he doesn't want to get into a tantrum from Draco, as he's not easy to appease.
Landric went downstairs and explained his arrangements to Tana Rozier. Looking at her child's beautiful and delicate face, Tana Rozier naturally agreed. As someone who was obsessed with good looks and her son, it would be strange if she disagreed.
