Chapter 612: Pick Whatever Puppet You Want
Chapter 612: Pick Whatever Puppet You Want
"Yes, Brother!"
In the long corridor leading to the area controlling Silver Fantasy, Alice, disguised as Lynn, moved like a ghost, swiftly advancing toward that region.
With Lynn coordinating and controlling the situation, she basically slipped through like she was entering an empty space—all the patrolling Plague Doctors coincidentally passed right by her without notice.
And then, the next moment.
Alice stopped abruptly, raised her head, and stared at the gate leading to the inner area.
Inside, the First Chamber's Plague Doctors were still monitoring Silver Fantasy from every angle, so she had to find a way to open this gate herself.
To break through Leviathan's flesh and blood, even with Brother controlling from within to weaken it, only Root-level materials or power could possibly dent it.
But before setting out.
Brother had indeed given her a very powerful tool.
Strange-looking as it was.It genuinely contained the vast power of the Root-level, enough to tear this gate apart!
Saying this, Alice reached into her internal space and pulled out a pointed, milky-white object. It looked strange—if she had to describe it, it felt more like a baby tooth broken off from some creature...
But Alice didn't think too much about it.
In an instant.
She narrowed her eyes, channeled her ghostly power to control that weapon, and stabbed it fiercely into the gate opposite her. Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle—she carved into it with all her might.
...
Meanwhile, inside.
The surging Flesh Plague, mixed with S&M Power, continued to relentlessly influence Silver Fantasy.
And in the corridor, various Bio-armaments, working in tandem with the Flesh Plague, were launching a full-scale assault on her mind.
"Here it comes!"
Silver Fantasy gritted her teeth, spun around sharply, her expression icy, both hands gripping her Monomolecular Blade tightly.
And an incredibly cold, dark gust of wind instantly swept down upon her from the billowing blood mist.
And then, the next moment.
A sharp, ghost-like screech suddenly erupted from the blood-red corridor.
A mass of black mist shot through the wall it had smashed open, surging like a dark torrent, ferociously flooding toward her. From within the mist, rotted, clawed arms extended, viciously reaching for her face.
It was that Aberration!
Silver Fantasy retreated explosively, gritting her teeth, swinging her Monomolecular Blade to sever the Yin energy-formed arms.
She could say.
The situation she faced now was a crisis like never before.
If it were just the Flesh Plague and these Bio-armaments, they wouldn't be enough to take her down. But the insidious part was the S&M Power mixed in, which, with its relentless influence, had created countless opportunities for those mental-attack Bio-armaments!
This forced her to divert a huge portion of her strength just to resist their assault on her consciousness and will!
And now, with that reborn Aberration added to the mix, her situation was about to get even more dangerous!
Clang—
The Monomolecular Blade clashed heavily with the screeching Aberration's claws in the blood mist, sending sparks flying in bursts.
And by now, she couldn't even make sense of what was happening anymore!
Because the fact that Lynn had betrayed them and sided with the enemy seemed confirmed.
But just before the screen cut out, that image of Lynn pinned to the wall by that blade left her stunned and bewildered about how this was playing out.
Because she recognized it in an instant.
That flying blade was unmistakably his own black knife!
Was it because he acted too evilly that even his own knife couldn't stand it and had to take him out?
Her mind felt like a mess.
Because she was one hundred percent certain that the wretched face that had appeared on the screen earlier was definitely him—no mistaking it. The way he insulted her was exactly like before, underground. That twisted, chaotic attitude couldn't be mimicked by anyone normal!
But what was up with that knife?!
She bit her silver teeth tightly, feeling like things were getting even more tangled and confusing.
She had no idea what that bastard was up to!
At the same time, Lynn was already striding with his group of little brothers, bare-chested, a faint smile on his face, heading toward Leviathan's Puppet Factory.
He tapped his temple and, through his Neural Link with Leviathan, synced with the footage of Silver Fantasy's area.
"Alice, how's it going?"
"Almost there—I'll break through soon!"
Lynn said slowly, "Good. Alice, remember this: I've already informed every Plague Doctor on Leviathan of your current location. You've got three minutes at most before the first wave of elites reaches your position. So hurry and link up with that Mechanical Girl. Remember—right now, there are two Lynns on Leviathan. I'm the fake. You're the real one!"
"Mm-hmm! Brother, I understand!"
"Good. The moment you break through, I'll release the last bottle of S&M Power-laced Flesh Plague on Silver Fantasy. That's when you make your move."
"Got it!"
Lynn cut off the link with Alice, monitoring Silver Fantasy's area with a smile.
Then he reconnected with the First Chamber, streaming the internal and external footage of Silver Fantasy's battle with the Aberration simultaneously.
Lynn said slowly, "Doctor, we've found that Night Doctor's position. Looks like he already knows we've swapped out the identity verification measures. Now he's clearly changed his strategy—he's trying to link up with that cyborg and break through us head-on!"
Inside the First Chamber, Doctor 315 slowly opened his eyes, staring at the footage on the screen, his voice hoarse:
"They're digging their own graves."
Lynn smirked. "Exactly. If that Night Doctor had stayed hidden in the shadows, I might have been wary. But he's been forced to pick the worst path. In a head-on fight, even the two of them together won't stand a chance against us!"
Doctor 315 was satisfied with Losh's (Lynn's) performance. He let out a hoarse, faint laugh.
"What are you planning next?"
Lynn said slowly, "I don't think we need to send our own key personnel to fight them. Since that Night Doctor has shown himself, I suggest we use the puppets we've stored up to finish them off! That way, we minimize our losses and get to test out our puppets' power. It's been years—I think it's time they had some exercise."
Doctor 315 didn't suspect a thing. Losh's (Lynn's) proposal suited him perfectly.
Because the Aberration's performance had already proven their puppets were highly effective at restraining that mechanical body.
"Good. I'll open the Puppet Factory's permissions to you. Pick whatever puppet you want."
